# Current settings or the cached setting?

Hello,

I have another “copy” question:  
When I copy a task or endpoint, do I copy the current settings or the cached settings from the last publish?

Hi,

in case copy function is used in a task or endpoint it copies current settings saved in the database regardless of the state of cached settings.
