# How to use data storage for PostgreSQL

Hi, my database statement is SELECT column1, column2 FROM table  
how to insert data into Data storage column?

I am primarily interested in PostgreSQL.

Hi,

Yo have to specify which column from output schema will be added to data checkpoint. We take the last (not the biggest) value in the return array and put it into data checkpoint. Therefore you have to ensure proper sort when returning the data using “order by” clause in SQL.
