Publish and Save functions

Hello,
I have few questions about these functions.
When exactly do I need to publish and when it’s ok to just save? Let’s say I make changes to my endpoint. I save my progress and then continue my work elsewhere. Is my data safe without being published to cache?
Also, after using the publish function, the button itself stays green with a tickmark saying “Published” even if I make changes that usually require to be Published again. Is it correct to click it anyway?

Hi Radek,

there are only two configuration settings that doesn’t require publish:

  • Orchestrator on company level (on/off)
  • Runnable / non-runnable flag on task level

These two take the effect immediately. All other settings require publish to get into operation.
